The day started dull and wet but soon picked up when the clock started ticking. The track started right at the top of Skipton moor where you ploughed over a small rock garden into a grassy track leading to what would usually be a river. After a sketchy descent it was all power down as you pedal along a fire road to the beginning of the woods. A loose right hand corner had to be taken to drop down into the woods which led into a crazy rock garden followed by one last sprint to the finish. We had two race runs and a mass start, I finished 2nd in the race runs but unfortunately took a tumble over the bars trying to overtake another racer therefore finished 6th.The day was great with a friendly atmosphere and after allot of help from Stef, Dave and Will the timing went smoothly. And thanks to my mate Jack Hirst for the pictures.
